Creative Performance Featured in Enter Stage Left Series
The Port Angeles community is blessed with a number of fine arts organizations, and we invite you to take advantage of their performances while you’re in the neighborhood!
On April 1 the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center began the third year of its Enter Stage Left performance series, which accompanies its annual Strait Art exhibition of north Peninsula artists.
Set against the backdrop of the lively and diverse exhibition of 44 artists responding to a theme titled Slivers of Silver, the Enter Stage Left offerings explore four realms of creative performance pursued by artists in Juan de Fuca country.
On four Friday nights during the exhibition’s run the series will present theater, cinema, circus/burlesque and virtual reality.
April 1 • FOUR WOMEN – A One-Actor Play by Port Angeles author and playwright Rebecca Redshaw
April 15 • Virtual Expression and Immersive Art • Exploring Second Life with Renne Emiko Brock-Richmond
April 29 • An Evening of Far West Videos • Tristan Seniuk’s Why Don’t We Disappear, Sarah Tucker’s The Telltale Heart and more
May 13 • Cirque de Bohème on Beaver Hill
Admission is by donation, $5 recommended. For more info on the programs please visit the event website at http://pafacorg.
…And we hope you’ll save the date for performances of Pirates of Penzance this summer, when the Port Angeles Light Opera Association presents Gilbert & Sullivan’s timeless family favorite, from July 15 – 23!
